Family Ministries

“Family Ministries” is for children from birth to 5th Grade. All Family Ministry programs are age appropriate and lots of fun! We take a family centered approach in the way we do ministry.  The primary way we accomplish this is by getting parents involved in helping, teaching, organizing, and implementing our ministry!  If you would like to get involved in Family Ministries please see Cindie Johnson or email her at cindie@clcmerced.com

Our Leadership

Preschool - 5th grade

Preschool and Kindergarten children have classes where they can learn fun Bible stories and songs at their own level. (Children in this class must be 4 years old AND potty-trained.)

1st thru 5th Grade Students enjoy their own services which include worship, games, small groups, and of course. . . fun!

In addition to weekly services, the Children's Ministry also offers special events throughout the year. Some of these events include: Mega Sports VBX, Classroom Parties, Upwards Basketball, and Movie Night!

What's up with the "X"

X is the first letter of the Greek word for Christ (Xristos or Christos) and is used as the symbol for "Christ". We want Christ to be the main factor in everything we do, which is why an "x" is incorporated in many of our ministry names.
